Account Manager / Account Director - Part Time

This agency is a well-established marketing agency with a solid reputation and a busy portfolio.
They are looking for an experienced Account Manager to join their team on a 3 day per week basis. This is a hybrid role, where you will work 2 days WFH and 1 day per week in the office, and meetings in the office as required, located in Central Sydney.
This role will support the Managing Director across the day to day management of a large retail account and campaign delivery.
Your skills and Experience:
- Excellent project management skills and organisation
- Can prioritise work, based on client needs
- Will actively track time spent against campaigns, providing regular reports and issues as they arise
- A people person. Works well in a small team with a variety of personality types
- Empathetic with clear emotional intelligence. Can monitor and adapt your own behaviour based on what you observe around you
- You can form and nurture relationships with people of all levels and job types (both within and outside the agency)
- Take a collaborative approach. You can articulate a point of view, and are willing to listen to others
- A self-starter. Can confidently manage yourself and others where needed
You have strong communication skills and are a confident presenter. You can write clearly, translating simple client briefs/debriefs to an actionable plan. You will proactively nurture client relationships across a number of formats -in person, over video calls, on the phone, over email and Chat.
You are curious, creative-savvy, innovative, ideas-oriented and willing to learn, and have an understanding of what makes great creative work and an aptitude to learn more about the retail environment.
If you have an interest and appreciation of strategy, with an ability to develop skills in this area, and a good understanding of brand positioning, audiences, the market place and looking to continue to grow your skill set - this is the role for you.
You will be an Australian resident or have a valid work visa allowing you to take on a permanent role. Our client can not offer sponsorship.
