Digital Director

Our client is a dynamic organisation in New Zealand’s tertiary education system proudly placing learners at the centre of their organisation. They are looking for a Director Digital - Information Systems and Support to join their team based in Dunedin.

In this pivotal role, you will lead the Digital Team in cutting edge, best practice to exceed stakeholder expectations and contribute to the achievement of the organization's strategic and operational goals.

You will continue to develop and manage the digital strategic plan, leading the ongoing enhancement and drive of growth and development of their digital capability, prioritising service excellence. Collaboration and relationship fostering are key and you will collaborate widely with stakeholders, suppliers, industry partners and other education providers.

Key to success in this role will be your: 

• Extensive strategic digital experience
• Commercial acumen
• Operational experience in leading a digital function in a complex organisation
• Commitment to quality and continuous improvement and a track record of success in delivering key outcomes of digital functions
• A collaborative, approachable style and the ability to build meaningful relationships with a broad range of stakeholders

You will hold a relevant tertiary qualification in addition to extensive experience in similar roles. Whilst experience and an understanding of the tertiary education sector would be advantageous, experience in a large organisation with multiple digital systems would also be an advantage.
