Front End Developer - Intermediate

Are you a Front-end Developer with an eye for design and a couple of solid years of experience under your belt?  Our client is looking to bolster their in-house development team.

Intermediate Frontend Web Developer:

Our client is a full-service digital design agency that believes in the power of design to create real impact. They thrive on collaboration, pushing creative and technical boundaries to craft standout digital experiences. 

What You Will Be Doing:

• Developing modern, high-performance frontend experiences using React, Next.js, and TypeScript
• Working closely with designers to bring digital brand experiences to life
• Optimising UI interactions and animations with Framer Motion, React Spring, or GSAP
• Consulting on projects spanning diverse brands, products, and ideas
• Deploying and managing projects on platforms like Vercel and Netlify
• Ensuring smooth integration with headless CMS platforms (Sanity, Strapi, Contentful, Prismic, etc)
• Implementing e2e testing to maintain quality and stability

• An eye for detail - you care about the finesse of animations, interactions, and design implementation
• A problem solver who can assess risks, troubleshoot effectively, and communicate solutions

• Passion for emerging technologies - you stay ahead of the curve with the latest frameworks, tools, and best practices

Must-Have Skills & Experience:

• React, Next.js, Gatsby
• TypeScript
• Tailwind CSS
• Headless CMS experience (Sanity, Strapi, Contentful, Prismic, etc.)
• Animation libraries (Framer Motion, React Spring, GSAP)
• Git & version control best practices
• Shopify Storefront API (Headless Storefronts)
• Testing tools (Playwright, Vitest, or similar)
• Vercel and/or Netlify for deployment

Bonus skills (nice to have but not essential)

• Shopify theme development (Liquid)
• WebFlow Development
• GitHub Actions or other CI/CD tools
• 3D animation (Three.js)
• Node.js & GraphQL
• Figma
• TRPC, ZOD, GROQD
• PHP
• Portfolio showcasing UI/UX animations or interaction design gets extra points.
