Our client is a creative agency who specialise in set building, design, and manufacturing for events and brand activations, located in Eastern Suburbs, Sydney.  This is a full time, onsite position.

They are looking for a Project Manager for a parental leave cover, to start April / May 2025, for a 9 month contract, which may extend.

You will have excellent client management experience, can confidently cultivate strong relationships with clients and suppliers, ensuring seamless and efficient project execution across all departments.  This involves producing accurate quotations, overseeing project timelines, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget, exceeding client expectations.

The day to day of the role will also be required to deliver, including scoping, quoting, proposal, briefing internally, kick-off meetings and delivery. You will use your experience and project management skills to ensure projects run on time and to budget, as well as ensuring ideas remain faithful to the brief.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and scope job briefs to effectively allocate resources
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring attention to detail on each
  • Regularly update project schedules, ensuring that timeframes are realistic and deadlines are met
  • Continually improve processes, focusing on quality control and using reporting metrics to guarantee each deliverable meets the client's specifications
  • Provide clear briefs to staff about project objectives, timelines, and budgets
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and within established margins
  • Conducting Post Project Reviews

 

Role Operations:

  • Partner with prospects and clients to achieve sales targets on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
  • Utilise the project management system to ensure smooth and effective company operations
  • Present solutions to clients with expertise, exploring their needs, offering valuable options, and negotiating effectively
  • Scope job briefs to enable precise resource allocation
  • Coordinate accurate quotations by collaborating with Design, Production, and Logistics teams
  • Ensure that job briefs are converted into approved projects with comprehensive client requirements and clear budgets
  • Coordinate project execution in partnership with all relevant departments
  • Participate in daily Work in Progress (WIP) meetings to track progress and address challenges
  • Provide project briefs to staff, outlining deliverables, timelines, and budgets
