Account Director
Our client is a strategic and creative services agency based in Central Auckland. They specialise in business storytelling, brand development, communications and implementation of creative projects, working across a range of sectors and geographies, partnering with clients in New Zealand, the US, the Middle East and Asia. Projects span industries such as insurance, telecommunications, the arts and startups. They are looking for an Account Director to join their team.
Reporting to the Business Director, this role will lead client relationships and ensure strategic alignment; Manage project delivery across brand (essential), comms (preferred), and digital (ideal); and Brief and collaborate with creative and design teams. You will be across financial management: forecasting, scopes, billing, able to support new business efforts and pitches and oversee studio operations when required.
With 6+ years in a client service role, ideally in a brand agency with strong brand experience (including rollout), you will have a strategic mindset and excellent communication skills with the proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects. Experience in comms and digital and managing cross-regional clients and remote teams is a nice to have.
The right fit for this team will be proactive and confident with ambiguity, strong on business acumen and commercial thinking and able to work at pace and juggle multiple moving parts. A passionate design and the arts and a good sense of humour will go a long way!
