Senior Account Manager

Our client is an Auckland based boutique agency, with a focus on retail and shopper marketing, product launches, promotions and experiential. They are looking for a Senior Account Manager to join their team.

This role will co-ordinate the day-to-day activities of the agency on behalf of the client, responsible for delivering a high level of work, on time and on budget. You will have a passion for great creative and care about the quality of work the agency outputs.

A key aspect of the role is to establish and build great relationships. Internally, you will be approachable and knowledgeable about clients, their brands, and specific projects. Externally you should understand the pressures clients are under and be proactive in making their lives easier.

You will be solutions-focused and bring a positive mindset to every aspect of the job. There should be a willingness to confront problems when they arise with empathy and suggest solutions as a part of the conversation.

The role requires outstanding communication skills, with frequent contact with internal and external stakeholders. You will be a great listener, ready to ask questions and have a willingness to contribute to the conversation, no matter who may be involved.

Results-driven, you will be aware of the market, and the goings-on within the wider agency, always be looking for opportunities, commercial or otherwise to drive value and growth.

The right person for this role will be approachable, empathetic, and willing to get stuck in. There will be multi-tasking required, and you can balance a number of projects at one time. Strong relationships are required in this role with internal and external stakeholder management a vital aspect. You will be personable, able to communicate well and value strong relationships with the team and with clients.
